yeah,i'm with ya on that. this winter has been messed up! cold windy,rain/sleet...snow,i had gotten used to them winters where it felt almost like spring and you could catch some sunshine and get a pre-tan before the heat of summer just burned you to a crispcatch some fish and enjoy, hopefully march and april will come on a little better! at least i hope so.knowing my luck,it'll go from 40 deg.-90 in a month,a few fish caught and hit the house going ...don't touch me...i'm on fire...is there any sunburn relief in this frigging house....why me

My first trip out is planned for the end of March. I got to hit the first weekend of Turkey season first. But man I love catching the bass on the bed.

Unhappy

I've gotta get my boat back in shape for this spring. I burned up my brand new water pump the day I installed it. This is after having replace my gimble bearing, exhaust and driveshaft bellows plus a new ignition. I had been running my muffs on the engine but forgot to cut the water back on before restarting after the ignition work and wasted a lot of time and $50 for a new water pump that I still have to buy. What a doofus I was.

The funny thing is, we all were begging for rain 6 months ago. I'm glad we have it...ready for some sun, but glad the drought is over.
